What the service covers

Between goods arriving and goods leaving sits a whole list of work that neither transport nor storage covers: promotional bundles, repacking, adding documents, building shelf-ready units, a final check before despatch.

We call them value added services, but for the consignee they are usually a condition of accepting the delivery. The scope is agreed in writing — what is to be produced, in what quantity, and what a finished unit looks like.

This is the cheapest moment to do anything to the goods: they are already on site, and the work needs no extra movement and no unpacking again at the far end.
