How long does a quotation take?
Enquiries received during office hours are usually quoted the same working day. Unusual lanes, abnormal loads and movements needing permits take longer — we tell you that as soon as the enquiry arrives, so you are not left waiting without news.

Is the figure from the form binding?
The form is used to prepare an individual quotation — nothing is calculated automatically. A forwarder reviews every enquiry and confirms vehicle availability, the conditions of carriage and the scope of liability. Only the written offer we send back is binding.

What details do you need to quote?
Collection and delivery points (ideally with postcodes), total weight, dimensions or pallet count, the type of goods and how they are packed, and the collection date. For temperature-controlled work please state the range; for dangerous goods, the ADR class.

Where do I find my shipment number?
The shipment number is issued when we confirm the booking and is included in the confirmation message. The same number works in the tracking module on this site. If the booking was accepted moments ago, the details may still be being entered.

Who is liable for the cargo in transit?
The scope of liability is agreed in writing before the load is collected, alongside the rate and the scope of service. We document the condition of the goods at loading and at unloading, so if damage occurs it is clear at which point it happened.

Do you handle recurring movements?
Yes. On repeatable lanes we set a standing run schedule, assign a vehicle and driver to the work, and fix the settlement rules for the term of the contract. The driver learns your site procedures, which shortens turnaround at the dock.
