Service
Less than truckload (LTL)
Groupage and palletised consignments
What the service covers
Not every consignment fills a trailer. Part loads are consolidated with other freight on the same lane, so the cost reflects the space actually used. It needs a more precise cargo description than FTL: the number of pallets, whether they can be stacked and how the goods are packed all affect both the rate and the delivery date.

Common questions
The questions we get asked most
-
01
How is a part load priced?
You pay for the space you occupy — pallet spaces or loading metres — rather than for the whole vehicle.
-
02
Is the cargo transhipped en route?
On a groupage network transhipment is possible. We say so at quotation stage and match the packaging to the number of handlings.
-
03
How long does a part load take?
Longer than a full load, because it moves through the groupage network. We give the expected transit time for your specific lane when we quote.
