From receipt to despatch without unnecessary storage
What the service covers
Not every consignment needs to go onto a rack. In cross-docking we receive the delivery, sort it by onward route and prepare it for transport straight away — goods stay in the building only as long as the transfer takes.
For orders we run the full cycle: picking, packing, marking and handover to the carrier, with despatch confirmed. Order cut-offs and handover times are agreed before the service starts.
Both modes need the same thing: a predictable booking-in and a clear statement of what moves on. When that works, goods generate neither storage cost nor delay.

How does cross-docking differ from warehousing?
In cross-docking goods never go onto stock — they are sorted and prepared for onward transport immediately, so they carry no storage cost.

What is the cut-off for same-day despatch?
The cut-off is set when the service starts, based on the carrier’s collection times on that lane.

Do we get a tracking number?
Yes. Once the consignment is handed to the carrier we send the despatch confirmation with the tracking number.
